Privacy Policy

At Qwerty Fix, we only collect the information we need to answer your questions, book your appointments and follow up on your repairs.

This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, which services may handle it, and how to reach us to exercise your rights.

Who we are

Qwerty Fix is a phone and device repair shop located at:
325 Rue Benjamin-Sulte
Laval, QC H7M 1Y4

If you have questions about how we handle your personal information, email us at qwertymobilekn@gmail.com.

Privacy Officer: the owner of Qwerty Fix.

Information we collect

When you fill out a form, book an appointment or message us, you may give us:

Why we collect it

We use this information only to:

We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for online targeted advertising.

Third-party services we use

These services handle information for us, outside Quebec, including in the United States:

Apart from Cloudflare, these services are only involved when you write to us or click a link. Each has its own privacy policy.

Cookies, audience measurement and embedded content

Qwerty Fix does not use advertising cookies or retargeting tools. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to obtain aggregate statistics about website traffic and performance. This service operates without cookies or browser storage and provides us with aggregate data rather than individual visitor tracking.

If we later introduce other measurement tools that require your consent, we will update this policy and implement the appropriate consent mechanism before activating them.

Our home page shows an embedded Google map of the shop location. It loads automatically: your browser then contacts Google, which receives your IP address and technical details about your browser, and handles that information outside Quebec. Nothing you send us is shared with Google.

How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as we reasonably need it for the purposes above, and to meet our legal obligations, such as tax or warranty records. After that, we delete or anonymize it.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your personal information, ask us to correct it or delete it where the law allows, or withdraw your consent. If the legal conditions are met, you can also ask for the information you gave us in a structured, commonly used electronic format.

Write to the email address above; we answer within 30 days, as the law requires. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect the information you share with us, and we limit access to the people who need it to handle your request.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. The date below shows the version in effect.
